The classically elegant wines you’ll taste at Bianchi Winery and Tasting Room in Paso Robles are the culmination of the dreams of three generations of one California family spanning four decades. The late Joseph Bianchi was an innovator and renaissance man who experimented with wine-in-a-can and wine coolers, well… before they were cool.
Glenn Bianchi held strong to a vision of producing ultra-premium varietal wines that delivered finesse and complexity. The Paso Robles terroir helped him realize that mission when he purchased the 40 acres that you will see on your next visit. State-of-the art winery, fireplace-equipped wine tasting room and the Koi-stocked Lake helped him complete the picture and translate his dream into your experience. Today it is considered one of the best Paso Robles wineries to visit.
Our story begins in 1974; when the wine industry in Margaret River was in start-up mode. John Evans and John Tate saw the potential of the region for producing first-class wines so planted a vineyard they named ‘Redbrook’. The two gentlemen were passionate about creating the best wines they could from their vineyard.
Over four decades later Margaret River ranks amongst the world’s elite wine growing regions. Redbrook is one of the oldest and most prestigious vineyards in Margaret River and is the centerpiece of our property. The passion displayed by our founders has endured and is a key reason why Evans & Tate is one of Australia’s favourite and most successful Margaret River wineries today.

Distilled to Master Distiller Pam Heilmann’s exacting specifications, no US1 whiskey is ever released until Pam and the Michter's tasting panel deems it ready.
Michter's specifies wood that has been thoroughly and properly dried, sometimes for as long as 18-36 months, in order to enhance the natural properties of the wood which allow for better flavor and to reduce the levels of tannin imparted to the whiskey.
From his days as a young boy working on a Midwest farm, Brian Cunat developed an interest and respect for agriculture and farming that has grown into a life's passion and a dream. Brian and his wife, Miki, have traveled extensively, touring wineries, walking vineyards and enjoying local cuisines and flavors. Their first visit to the Napa Valley with its natural beauty and welcoming residents, along with the exceptional quality of wines produced from the region gave real inspiration to their family dream.
In 2007, Brian decided to combine his love of wine and his dream of farming by purchasing a 50-acre property in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. Working with an expert team of vineyard managers and winemakers, the property was transformed with Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier.
The Cunat family is involved in the winery operations on a daily basis. The oldest daughter, Neena, has worked in Napa since 2007 and oversees the daily operations as well as the company's public relations efforts. The younger daughter has been instrumental in the designs of the product labels and collateral materials. Additionally, Brian's brother, John, and the extended Cunat family are supportive investors in Cunat Family Vineyards as well as active brand advocates.
Each Materra wine is a perfect expression of the land, the grapes, the passion the Cunat family has invested in each bottle and the unyielding quality delivered consistently by the growing conditions and terroir of the Napa Valley. Trujillo Cabernet Sauvignon is my latest endeavor and a personal labor of love. Inspiration for this wine traces back to 1982, when I first arrived in Napa Valley from my family’s farm in Colorado. I grew up helping my father year-round in the fields, and learned early on about how soil, climate, pests and critters affect living, growing plants.
After three decades of winemaking experience in all aspects of the business—from vineyard cultivation and irrigation digging, to cooperage selection and blending—I’m proud to now offer my own namesake Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is a realization of my lifelong passion for crafting red wine, an expression of all that I’ve learned and deeply value about winemaking in the Napa Valley.
Growing and harvesting grapes across diverse terroirs, from lush valley floor to hillside slopes, contributes the exceptional balance and structure I look for in a wine. Maybe my farming roots are why the vineyards feel like home and the growers, extended family. Fruit for my label comes from some of Napa’s finest, including Herb Lamb Vineyards in St. Helena, Gary Morisoli in Rutherford, Healy Vineyards in St. Helena, and Henry Brothers Ranch on Howell Mountain.
Chairman’s Reserve was created by Laurie Barnard, the last founding family member to hold the Chairman’s position at St. Lucia Distillers. He created a splendid rum, steeped in the 80 plus years of St. Lucian rum heritage and the legacy of the Barnard family. To create Chairman’s, he experimented with blending respective casks of double distilled pot still rum and column still rum. By returning the blended rum back into oak barrels for additional aging, Laurie Barnard created a soft, well-balanced, and flavorful spirit that has become the benchmark for St. Lucian rum.

In the late 17th century, the famous Père Labat, a Jesuit credited with proliferating sugar cultivation in the French West Indies, was the parish priest of Macouba while he operated a sugar refinery at his house along the Roche River. Antoine Leroux-Préville purchased Father Labat’s estate in 1790 and gave the plantation the name we know it by today, Fonds-Préville. In 1845, Antoine Leroux-Préville’s daughters sold the property to Jean-Marie Martin, a merchant from Saint-Pierre and husband of Marie Ferment who was the daughter of one of the island’s great planters. Jean-Marie Martin recognized the superior quality of the sugarcane he found on the Fonds-Préville estate and decided to properly cultivate sugarcane solely for the production Rhum Agricole. He built a small distillery on the estate and branded his initials “J.M.” on the first oak barrels used to mature and transport his rhum to market. Since then, these two letters have become and remain the emblem of the most prestigious and most superior rum known in Martinique.
In 1914, Gustave Crassous de Médeuil, already owner of the Maison Bellevue, purchased Habitation Fonds-Préville. From this day, Maison Bellevue and Fonds-Préville became one entity. Located at the foot of the volcano Mont Pelée, Distillerie Fonds-Préville continues to be the highest-regarded rhumerie in Martinique. Today, the heirs of the Crassous de Médeuil family continue to craft the most superior rhum in the world by abiding to the tradition and the promise to always produce artisanal Rhum Agricole, from sugarcane of the adjacent Bellevue and Fonds-Préville plantations.
The iconic rhum of Martinique, Rhum Clément was founded in 1887 by Homere Clément. Rhum Clement is known around the globe for its world-class rum and innovative approach to delivering the time-honored traditions of the heirs of Homère Clement. On the central Atlantic coast in Le Francois, Clément crafts a variety of AOC certified white and aged Rhum Agricole as well as a range of liqueurs, the most popular being the classic French Caribbean delicacy Créole Shrubb. Habitation Clément is famous for its various charred oak profiles for their casks, which are housed in five cellars patiently aging over a million liters of rum lending the rum flavorful tannins and character known so well in the Clément aged rhum profile.
As a protector of Martinique heritage, with its birthplace Habitation Clément listed as a historic monument since 1996, as well as housing Foundation Clément bringing to Martinique one of the largest contemporary art exhibitions in the Caribbean, Rhum Clément embodies the spirited and fine culture of the French Caribbean. With this ethos of creating wonderful high-quality rhum, over the backdrop of splendid artistic and patrimonial expression, Rhum Clément has developed to be Martinique’s leading rhum brand, with availability in more than 80 countries.
Mister Rimbaud arrived in Guadeloupe from Martinique at the end of XIXth century to establish his own sugar plantation and distillery. He settled just outside of the small fishing village of Le Moule for the massive area of open space available near the sea to set up a sugar plantation, and he aptly named it Bellevue.
The Bellevue estate was acquired in 1942 by Roger Damoiseau and he transformed the distillery from producing rhum, confections, fruit preserves, and other sugar products to only producing Rhum Agricole. Located on Grande Terre, the Damoiseau distillery is surrounded by plantations of sugarcane with notable high sugar concentration and strong aromatic savory qualities due to its very arid terroir on the eastern oceanic slopes of Guadeloupe. Rhum Damoiseau has been making exceptional rhums for more than 70 years; and Herve Damoiseau, the grandson of Roger Damoiseau, has guided his family’s legacy to become the #1 Guadeloupe Rhum Agricole.

Admiral G. Rodney was a brilliant naval Strategist, and inveterate gambler and a unscrupulous collector of the spoils of war. He will forever be remembered as the Admiral who broke the French line at the Battle of the Saints thus ensuring British domination of the Caribbean.
By the spring of the 1782 the French Fleet led by Admiral de Grasse was greedily eyeing the Caribbean sugar islands. However, Rodney knew De Grasse’s intentions and pursued and confronted the French on April 12 and the famous Battle of the Saints began. The two fleets met on opposite course-in line-as was the convention near Les Iles des Saints, but a sudden change of wind confused the French and gaps appeared in their line. With a flash of tactical genius Rodney ordered his ships to turn 90 degrees and break the French line. In doing so the guns on both sides of the English ships were brought to bear on the French with little risk of return fire. De Grasse could not re-form his line and by late afternoon his 130 gun flagship, Ville de Paris, struck her colours giving Rodney victory and the English hegemony in the Caribbean.
The Admiral Rodney series of award winning rums celebrates the famous naval battle and toasts the courage and valour of British sailors who “broke the line” and vanquished the French fleet.
